Upper Moreland Lacrosse Club
Upper Moreland Lacrosse Club is a nonprofit youth lacrosse club located in Willow Grove, PA (Upper Moreland Township). Our mission is to provide a quality learning experience in a safe environment that encourages participation and combines sportsmanship, competitive and/or developmental skill enhancement, as well as team and community spirit. We welcome boys and girls (K-8th grade) of all experience levels to join us so they can enhance and grow their skills and love of the game of lacrosse.
In partnership with Upper Moreland School District, our teams predominately practice and play on turf fields at Upper Moreland High School.

K-2 Boys & Girls
Discovery - Provide the youngest and newest players the opportunity to develop basic movement like running, jumping, landing, kicking, scooping, throwing and catching in a fun setting, built around informal play and positive reinforcement.
Fundamentals - Allow children to develop their movement ABCs - agility, balance, coordination and speed -and learn the basics of the game while emphasizing fun, cooperation, and maximum touches with the ball.
3rd/4th Grade Boys & Girls
Fundamentals - Allow children to develop their movement ABCs - agility, balance, coordination and speed -and learn the basics of the game while emphasizing fun, cooperation, and maximum touches with the ball.
Foundations - Optimal time to learn and build a large repertoire of lacrosse specific skills and learn the basic principles of play in a fun, challenging environment.
5th/6th Grade Boys & Girls

Emerging Competition - Often the stage we make or break the athlete; when children choose to continue participation in the sport. A time for developing strong technical skills and is the dawning of tactical awareness.
7th/8th Grade Boys & Girls
Emerging Competition - Often the stage we make or break the athlete; when children choose to continue participation in the sport. A time for developing strong technical skills and is the dawning of tactical awareness. Players are introduced to concepts like mental preparation, goal setting, and coping with winning and losing.
Competitive - Players are fine tuning their lacrosse skills under a variety of competitive conditions in a game format that mirrors adult play. Along with continued refinement of advanced techniques, players work to develop their tactical awareness, discipline and mental toughness.
